The Heap Paradox

when does a heap stop being a heap?

1,000,000 grains of sand make a heap. Taking away 1 grain from a heap still leaves a heap. Repeat that step again and again, and you conclude that 1 grain of sand, or even 0, is a heap, which is absurd.
